CANDU / nuclear systems study
Study a system by tracing energy, control and failure
A learning framework for explaining a system without jumping straight to component names.
This is a study method, not an operating instruction for a nuclear facility.
Start with purpose
Explain what the system does, what enters and leaves, where energy changes form and how normal operation is controlled.
Then examine boundaries
Identify interfaces, indications, dependencies and the distinction between a normal control action and a protective function. Use authoritative training material for the actual system.
Test the explanation
Write a short explanation from memory, identify the gaps and verify them against the source. For licensing-exam study, keep the governing assumptions and units beside the calculation, and retain an independent check.
