SHAFT STUDY / ARPIT BHATT
Illustrative reconstruction. Not an original Atlas Electricals CAD file.
Not for manufacture. Units: mm. No fabricated test or FEA results.

Open dist/cad/shaft-reconstruction.step in a CAD application that supports STEP.
The STL is a mesh, not a parametric solid; select mm as its import units.
The station CSV, SVG drawing and JSON results use the same assumed geometry.

To reproduce:
Install Python with CadQuery 2.7.0 and NumPy 2.x in a suitable environment.
From the extracted package root, run: python scripts/build_shaft.py
Outputs are written into dist/cad. The script verifies STEP re-import validity,
solid count, envelope and volume, plus an independent unit-load deflection check.
The material E, load, bearing stations and all dimensions except the 35 mm
reinforced diameter are illustrative assumptions; see the article for details.

The STEP solid has ideal sharp shoulders. No fillets, keyways, tolerances,
threads, material certificate, fatigue assessment or manufacturing release.
A native SolidWorks feature tree was not created. Use the dimension schedule
to rebuild a sketch and revolved boss in SolidWorks when a native part is needed.
